| Azusa Engineering carries only high quality chain that meets or exceeds
ANSI Standards. All chain components are shot-peened for fortification
against fatigue. The assemblies are all pre-loaded (a standard part of the
manufacturing sequence) to align the components and to provide a controlled
initial elongation to eliminate the rapid-wear phase during run-in. |
| Additionally, when "H" series chain (thicker side plates) is manufactured,
the process even goes so far as to use through-hardened steel pins to make
the pin strength level commensurate with that of the stronger side plates. |

| Our supplier operates a fully integrated chain manufacturing facility with
capabilities that include: coldrolling, stamping, wire drawing, annealing,
shot-peening, grinding, carburizing, assembling and pre-loading. It designs,
manufactures and maintains all of its own tooling using EDM equipment. |
| The on-site quality control laboratory is state-of-the-art, with fully automated
tensile testing equipment, high and low cycle fatigue testing capabilities
and a full complement of the latest metallographic equipment. |
