Azusa President, Tom Patronite,
Retires From KIC Board

Antioch, Illinois - Tom Patronite of California-based Azusa Engineering has announced his retirement from the Karting Industry Council (KIC) board after more than 22 years of service.
John Nuttall, the new KIC president said of Tom, "Your leadership and participation has been invaluable. The (entire) KIC Board Members has also asked me to pass on their sincere
appreciation for your efforts in supporting the Karting and the KIC."
Nuttall continued, "It is amazing to think you helped lead the KIC for half of the history of the karting industry. During your tenure with the KIC much has accomplished; A more uniform set of rules was developed through the annual association SummitConference, National Tech Committee. Additionally, KIC has promoted karting with the track owner seminars, Let's Go Racing brochure and production of the a video titled: Introduction to the Exciting World of Karting."
"On both a professional and a personal level, I benefited from the time that we were able to spend together. You taught me about the unique aspects of karting industry that I was not aware of. Your willingness to get things done is appreciated and your guidance was a steadying force at times when collaboration was desperately needed."
Patronite said, "Being a director has been an exceptional experience, and I thank the KIC members for having given me the opportunity. It is a privilege to have served on the board with you, and with the many past board members as well. You are all among the more accomplished business leaders in a competitive industry."
